One Last Cry
With single digit temps overnight these days, everything is frozen. And snow covered, which means that Rob and I can breathe again! No outdoor allergies! Yessss!!!!
And my heart is on the mend. I’ve only felt like I couldn’t handle things a couple of times in the last week or so. So life goes on, right?
I’m thinking of enrolling Kodiak into Therapy Dog classes. That way, he’d be licensed, trained and insured to come with me when I have a Hospice Patient. The classes start in April, so I have time to figure out my schedule before then.
This takes a lot of guts for me to say: I’m going to be 34 this month.
Yesterday I decided that I won’t bemoan my advancing years any longer. Instead of hating my age, I will embrace it… but I’ll kick and scream when it comes to accepting the new gray hair I found amidst the copper locks today. ARGH!!!!
So I figure I have one more cry before I really put this all (work, holiday, Meg) behind me. Not today though. Today I am in a good mood and I am satisfied and my heart is at rest.
I just wish my pal, Mr. Frilly Pants would be my pal again.

I can handle freezing temps but when it gets to the single digits it gets very hard for me. That is very interesting about Kodiak. I had no idea that there were classes for such a thing. Very neat. I know that pets help people mend but I never thought about them offering comfort at end stages.
I am glad you are happy and at peace today. A confirmation that prayer works

Glad to hear you are on the mend. 34 is still very young, so I hope you will continue to enjoy the 30’s.
Blessings,
Carol

Nothin’ wrong with 34, my dear. :o) I’m so glad to find you in better spirits! I think Kodiak would be a good therapy dog. Just look at what he’s done for you. :o)
