Happy Dance
No, I won’t know about possibility of pregnancy until mid-week.
I’m doing happy dance because I re-installed my old friend SiteMeter. And I realized that YES, I have all my same old lurkers who won’t leave a comment if their life depended on it, but alas, they still came with me to wordpress.
I must be doing something right!

I have the same problem.
Once a month I say that I’m going to stop posting because:
“No one reads these things anyway. They are only interesting to me”.
I think my wife jumps on the computer when I’m not looking and gives me mercy clicks to up my stats and my spirits.
Once and a while, someone leaves a nice comment and everything seems ok again…
…at least for the next three week

i know i wish people would love comments also - i dunno how to get um to do that w/o money bribes
I know how. Leave an encouraging comment on their blog. And also, keep your posts semi-short. But sometimes the post inside of me trying to get out is very long. Then you have to remember that your blog is YOUR BLOG and you didn’t start it so you would have tons of comments, but as a release for yourself. A journal of sorts. At least that’s how it is with me!

How did you intall this site meter? Do you have to pay extra to upgrade WordPress in order to do it?
