Spicy Dogs
This is the second night in a row that I haven’t been able to sleep well because of the overwhelming smell of cinnamon in my bedroom. Because the dogs picked up fleas and I so hate giving them strong meds. So we decided to use a “more natural” cure, made with SPICE OILS, like clove, cinnamon, thyme, etc.
So my entire home smells like a spice rack on steroids. It actually hurts my head. At least the dogs smell good, and not, well, dog-like.

If you could just bottle that smell, we could market it as a bio-chemical weapon of mass confusion. We could disguise it as a perfume bottle and call it “K-9 Cin SpOils”…
The tag line would be…”because it’s thyme for an aphrodisiac made for animals.”
Then everyone in Iraq would get a headache and go home.

Overload on the senses? Is it cool enough to open the windows and let in fresh air? Hope it gets better and you get some sleep

I’m still giggling at Charlie’s comment.

Don’t think I have heard of that cure for fleas but the smell sounds overpowering. My nose is very sensitive and I have gotten a headache from someone’s perfume at church before. Maybe it gave the fleas a headache as well.

i need my sleep.
so sorry the doggies have fleas,
at 7000 feet the fleas can’t survive- so we don’t worry about that.

I used something similar on my pet today and wow… it is super strong. I tried it on her crate and was going to spray the floors and was afraid I might not be able to live in this house if I did.
I hope it passes soon!
