Bangers and Mash

Rob purchased some sausages from the store last week. The front of the package read, “Classic British-style Bangers.” Of course this made us both laugh, and then, of couse, Rob’s mind went straight to the gutter. (OK mine went to the gutter too!)
Anyhoo… I have read quite enough British-themed novels that I know about Bangers and Mash. Simply, it’s sausages, and mashed potatoes.
Rob made bangers tonight, but with Hash Browns…. and it was amazing. We also had corn and that was amazing too. My husband is an amazing man, and I love him so much. He keeps the home fires burning when I am burned out. And he brought me super-glue at work today so I didn’t have to admit that I broke something. Instead, I fixed it and nobody knows!
We’re under a winter storm warning until noon Sunday… so another 15 hours… and we’re supposed to get around 8 inches of snow. I’m snuggled into my pink fuzzy robe with the sheep on it, and I’m going to fall asleep on the couch in 3 minutes.
Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

Wowee, 8 inches of snow? Did you end up getting that much? We didn’t get any snow, but we did get lots of ice. Luckily it warmed up above 32 degrees today already and it has melted. Wahoo!!!
Have fun being snowed in!
God bless

The bangers looked good but I would be more for bangers and grits.
I keep hoping we might get some snow this year but we can’t even seem to get rain, the pond is about 3/4 dry. ec
