Singing Jayleigh

I decided back in September that I’d sing and play a song for Christmas at Church. Apparently I posted O Come O Come Emmanuel a year ago in anticipation of Christmas. And I’m reposting this year, with the decided difference that it’s ME playing and singing.

It’s rough, and I was in my Pajamas, so please forgive. I did have great hair and makeup though, because I’d just come from a Chrismas party!

Enjoy. Share good comments and constructive ones. Keep the nasties to yourself as I’m a tough enough critic of my own playing. I have SUCH nerves, you wouldn’t believe it.

Pretty - I enjoyed that. I felt like I could hear the piano more than I could you at times, but I think that has to do with the positioning of the microphone, not with you. Thanks for sharing - you should post these more often. :)

I am definitely impressed. I’ve tried playing and singing at the same time. It’s hard. My brain can’t seem to master the art of it.
Hope your day is going well!
    God bless :)

Bravo!!! You did amazing. You’re so talented and I can only wish I could play the piano that well, let alone your beautiful singing voice :)

I think we have the same couch pattern… and is that an american flag ornament on your tree? Which is stunning by the way.

Thank you for sharing.. I truly enjoyed!

Wonderful! I loved it! You have a great voice and I only wish I could play the piano. We just got one last year so my kids could take lessons. Now I’m thinking I should take lessons. You inspire me!

Good job, Jayleigh! I know Christmas songs are not the easiest thing to play on the piano. My daughter has learned Hark The Herald Angels Sing and will be playing and singing it with another girl on Sunday. Thanks for the Christmas card too. :-)
