The Magazine Family
I work out at a local gym for ladies only. You know the one. It’s 2 miles from here and I drive by it on my way to and from work. The former owners have a large family, and their middle child had some sort of brain injury on the day of his High School Openhouse, this past May. They boy’s name is Micah.
Would you say a prayer for Micah, his parents, his brothers and sister and their friends and family who help with Micah’s care?
Their whole family are people who believe and claim our Lord’s promises of restoration and healing. More importantly, they believe in our Savior… and it’s amazing to see their strength through this completely paralyzing, non-communacative ordeal for Micah.
I thank God for this loving family who didn’t believe the docs when they said their son wouldn’t come back.
the address for this care page is in the comments.

Father God, who creates and sustains all life, teach us to appreciate how much life there is in each one, not just the perfectly formed or linguistically gifted. Let us not see the damage, but the soul, that remains, and your spirit shining inside that “gifted” one. Let us be appropriately ashamed of our tendency to only accept those like us, and of our fear of those who are different. Amen
Merry Christmas to Micah and his family
