My sister Dotty, my joie de vivre is leaving for home in Sacramento this morning after two really good weeks’ visit. I shall miss her greatly, but hopefully have plans to see her in a few months. Yay!

I like the French term you used here to describe your relationship with your sister. Perhaps if you ever come out to Sacramento to see her, I could meet you. We’re about 1 1/2 hours from Sac.

you really MUST see parts of Calif ( i am not sure Sacra tormento is one of them) but the seirras, are fabulous as is the coast, and then there is humble Big Bear Lake…
