Amazingly Wonderful Day

I did something when I was leaving work on Friday which was kind of a lapse in judgment. It was not a big deal, but because of some other circumstances, I dwelt on it all weekend long and literally DREADED going into work today. I decided on Saturday that I would just be completely honest and apologize for my part in Friday’s activities.

But this morning I remembered: I have never EVER been told to not do what I did. And really it wasn’t a big deal.

And guess what! Nobody said anything about it today.
It’s not that I got away with anything… it’s that they didn’t care at all that I did what I did. Which is cool, because frankly I think I should have been allowed to do it anyway… I just didn’t ask first.

Anyway….

It was a great day all the way around, but moreso because I prayed for guidance and I got it… and God is right, always always always.

Oh, and Rob contacted someone from DHS today (state dept of human services) and they are sending out a packet of info for getting started in fostering.

Yay.
