Turning Point
Our favorite friends are by far The Brain Family: Trina and The Brain, Lexie and Lauren.
Tonight they took Rob and me out for my birthday (not until the 29th!) to Red Robin. We all stuffed our faces with great burgers and fries, and chatted and had a great time. Then we went to Borders and walked around because that’s what we do after we go out! Actually, Border’s was my idea, but I knew The Brain would agree. He walked out with probably 20 pounds of books between he and Trina, and the girls.
Rob and I bought a book for a lady with whom I share a birthday. It was a book of quotes, which I LOVE. Here’s my favorite:
Thirty-five is a very attractive age. London society is full of women of the highest birth who have, of their own free choice, remained thirty-five for years. ~Oscar Wilde
You know, I’ll be 35, right? For real though. Not just according to the above quote.
The Brain was having a horrible headache tonight. I desperately wanted Rob and Trina and me to lay hands on him and pray for him… but The Brain doesn’t share the same hope that we do. So I’m praying fervently that the Lord of All will bless him with the Peace which surpasses all understanding tonight and that The Brain’s heart will soften and that he will turn his life over to my God.
In other prayers, I am just asking that God’s will be done in the life of a certain young lady who has big decisions to make. I give thanks that LauraBeth is out of the dangerous situation she was in. I pray that Mindy and CJ act responsibly and are taken care of, and I am thankful that my sister is a good and godly woman.
Oh, and I praise God for my darling Rob. I can’t even begin to express how amazed I am that it’s ME who gets to spend the rest of my life with him. Better than winning the lottery, for sure!
I pray that tonight is a turning point for The Brain. Sincerely.

It is so sad to me that those without Christ just don’t have any idea what they are missing. I was blessed when you wrote of your gratitude for your husband. May God answer these prayers. ec
