I like the phrase "....after you have done everything, to stand" - I might even add, if you get knocked down just get back up. If God is for us who can be against us? ec

I honestly don't know how people walk through life not knowing and hoping in Jesus. How do they deal with disappointment? Fear? Death? Sickness? Even Happiness and Joy can't be fully experienced without the Hope that Jesus gives us.
Sounds like you've had a rough couple of days, I'm sorry. I pray you lay your fears and anger at His feet and let His peace fill you.
Blessings-Andie

I love that you quote Alcott so much. I have been reading her books with SugarPlum over the past several months and really love her phrasing and lessons. I think that Jo's Boys and Little Men are our favorites. Though we are reading Rose in Bloom right now and really enjoying it.

Every day is such a struggle. I agree that I don't know what I'd do with out the hope that Jesus gives me. I really just have to give every day to Him & trust that things will turn out as He desires for me. When I decide to take it into my own hands is when things always seem to go terribly, terribly wrong! I love the passage about the armor of God because I honestly feel protected from the enemy when I consider it.

Thanks for the reminder!
