Monday 7 PM EDT

Monday is the Home Visit. At 7 PM EDT.

Please pray from the moment you read this until you see another blog post from me. I am freaking out tonight. My parents were so good to come over for dinner and to help with a few things, but mostly to talk.

Both my parents, separately, without having talked with each other first, said something to me that Rob and I had already decided yesterday: If for some reason they don’t approve you to be foster parents, do not push the issue. Accept that it’s not in God’s plan right now, and still follow after Him. Know that it isn’t your fault, just do whatever they say you have to do, and make sure you put God and your marriage as the top priority.

My parents are awesome.

  1. Great advice…. Hard to actually put to practice if that is the case but I know you will do just fine – no matter what the outcome.

  5. I will be parying for you for sure. And as an adoptive Mom of a child coming fromthe system I couldn’t agree more with the advice. I am sure you won’t have any issues being qualified but if you do it’s God’s roadblock and it’s there for a reason. Many blessings!
