I used to be a hopeless, negative wretch. I saw it in my own face on our 15-year-old wedding video. Even though I looked sooooo pretty, I didn’t have HOPE. Come see what it’s all about, along with a cool pic of Rob and me.

My friend’s text message read, “I’m glad you loved through it!” That’s exactly what happened. I loved through it. Even if I thought it was going to kill me, I loved through it.

My twin sister Dotty sent this article to me today. Yikes. This guy’s iPod Nano supposedly burst into flames while in his pants. What Dotty doesn’t know, though, is that when I am doing housework, I usually have my iPod right like this:
Click the photo to see what Charlie called “Great Boobs of Fire!”
Maybe I [...]

It’s now been nearly 2 weeks since our big party, but I wanted to show photos of Rob and me playing basketball with Andy and Will.
Andy is the cutest kid ever. I think he’s just turned 8, and he only wants to do everything in the world that his older brother does. Such a sweetie, [...]

Someone told me a long time ago that I was an open book, and that nobody ever wanted to know more about me because there was no mystery left to tell. Who was it that said, “Tis better to keep your mouth shut and have the world think you a fool, than to open it [...]

I had ice cream on Saturday.
On Sunday I had some cookies.
I haven’t had anything bad to eat today. I am rocking it out, brothah.
Today is my first church meeting without Rob there in Branton. I decided yesterday during worship that I didn’t want to totally walk out on things at Branton, because… what if in [...]

Tomorrow is my first day in Branton without Rob. I’m working, and frankly, so is he. May the Lord be with him continually. May Rob’s words reach the ears of those who need to hear them, and may the tension with the VBS ladies be a mere memory.

Oh [...]

My favorite thing yesterday is that Rob came home and took me to dinner at Applebees. And then we went to bed early. And woke up early.
My favorite thing today is that Rob’s family’s campout is at our favorite State Park and we’re going to take “the long way” there via Port Huron [...]

After Bible Study on Thursday, I gave my mom a pedicure. I really don't LOVE doing it, but she loves it, and it saves me $30… so I deal with it. We had a nice chat while I was filing and painting… and we formed our game-plan for the shopping trip which was about to [...]

This morning was fantastic. Then I went to get my check from work and everyone was ragging. I might be in trouble. Not lose-my-job trouble, but Mya-pissed-at-me trouble. I hate it. And Millie is one of the biggest two-faced backbiters I've ever known. She loves to stir the pot and be on the inside loop, tattling [...]

Tonight Rob and I went to my folks' house for dinner and to hang out. My mom and I ended up going through this gigantic box of photos to find ones suitable for me to put in the frame that Dotty and I got her for Mother's Day. I am going to make all of [...]

I really like it. Rob is amazing for picking out EXACTLY what I wanted even when I wasn’t with him.
The next one is not trick photography. It’s fer realz. Yoga can do that to a body… though I haven’t practiced with regularity in years, my body remembers some things.
